COVID-19 Information for Clients

To all our clients, families, and prospective clients:


We at the Attune Centre are doing our best to balance the mental health needs of our clients and the physical safety of everyone who enters the centre at this difficult and unprecedented time. We are carefully following guidelines provided by both public health and the College of Psychologists with respect to provision of services.  


The Attune Centre remains open, though we have implemented policies to help protect everyone from illness. Currently, all clients coming to the the office will be screened to ensure low risk of transmission of illness. Specifically, we are asking our clients to identify whether they: have been unwell in the past 72 hours; have travelled out of the country in the past 14 days; have been exposed to Covid-19; or they have had direct contact with someone who is unwell AND has travelled outside of the country in the past 14 days. All clients and employees of the centre who answer yes to any of the screening questions will be asked not to come to the centre.  As always, there are no fees for cancellations at any time. 


In addition to this screening, we are implementing stricter disinfecting procedures at the centre and limiting contact with others in the waiting area. 


Finally, all clinicians at the Attune Centre will be offering video or telephone sessions to all clients who are interested - regardless  of whether they are at risk of exposure.  We are hopeful that by offering online services,  we can continue to support folks even if this situation worsens. 


At this time, we want to personally thank clients for their patience and understanding during this uncertain time.  This is a rapidly changing situation that may require further, more limiting choices. We will do our best to continue to support our clients, their families, and our staff, and look forward to returning to normal when this crisis has resolved.
