Dr. McLeod has presented on trauma-informed care across Canada, including providing a full-day training as part of the 2015 Sick Kids Infant Mental Health Promotion's bi-annual International Conference in Toronto, Ontario; presenting on the impact of trauma at the national Child Welfare Directors meeting in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and training teachers on trauma-informed approaches in Kimmiruit, Nunavut. She regularly provides training and consultation to parents, schools, early childhood educators, group homes, and mental and medical health professionals on the impact of trauma and on developing more trauma-informed spaces.
